How long do sessions last?
Our sessions run from 1 to 3 hours depending on the type of session and amount of people and pets involved. Usually a pet session will last 1 hour, a family shoot 2 hours. (This includes the viewing session)
Do you offer Hair and Make up?
For family session you will need to come to the studio with your hair and make up done. For pets session and Glamour and Boudoir we can offer you Hair and Make up for only $100, you will need to discuss this at the time of booking.
When do we get to see the images?
You will be shown your images straight after the photography session, we offer this service because we realise how chaotic the roads are in Sydney. You will be able to place your order at the time of your photography session.
What are your prices?
Our session cost is $250, the session can be in our studio, at our local beach or park.
Our starting price for prints is $250 (8 x 10 inches) and an average customer usually spends around $1500. Products we offer include wall portraits, gift prints, albums and digital files. If you would like a price list, please email me on info@honeydewphotography.com.au
Do you photograph pets?
Yes, we love photographing pets, but we do limit our pet shoots to dogs and rabbits. We photograph all the pets in our studio using studio flash to bring out all the best features. We like to think that we are a bit different from other pet photographers as we do not shoot outdoors and we like you and your family to be in the photos too.
I have a black dog, can you photograph it so I can see his features?
Yes, that is why we use studio flash lights and we make a point of lighting black dogs so their eyes really pop out in the photos.
What do I need to do before a dog photography session?
Please wash and groom your dog just before the shoot. If you are travelling a long way, please come early so you can walk your dog before the shoot to get out all the silly’s. Please bring your pets favourite treats to eat for sitting so well in their pet photo session, and a lead, sorry but we have chickens, so please keep your pooch on the lead until they are safely in our studio.
Can you photograph my family at a park or do you only photograph in your studio?
Yes, we love doing family photography session at Centennial Park, we schedule this location shoot for either 9am or 4pm. We can also love doing family photography sessions at Maroubra Beach, this needs to be late afternoon with the lovely pink glow in the sky.
If you have a baby under the age of 2 years old, we believe it is better to have your photography session done in our air conditioned Eastgardens studio as your baby will be more focused for the shoot.
Are you only in Sydney?
Yes, we only have one Sydney photography studio, which is located in Eastgardens.

Do you do family photography sessions on a Sunday?
Sorry, all our family photography sessions are between Monday and Saturday. We suggest you take a day or 1/2 off work.
Do you do extended family photography sessions for a big extended family.
Yes, we do. These family photography sessions need to be in the park due to the large numbers not fitting in my studio.
What if my child is sick on photo day?
It is best to postpone your photography session if your child is sick as we are unlikely to achieve the best photo’s on the day, please ring as soon as you know your child is unwell and we can reschedule your photography session.
